The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK-wide charity making a daily difference to the lives of people with cystic fibrosis, and those who care for them. We invest in cutting-edge research, drive up standards of clinical care, offer support for everyone affected by cystic fibrosis, and campaign hard on the issues that matter.
Cystic fibrosis is chronically misunderstood, kills thousands worldwide and is carried unknowingly in the genes of millions. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to fighting for a life unlimited for everyone affected by the condition. Our mission is to create a world where everyone living with cystic fibrosis will be able to look forward to a long, healthy life.
Putting people with cystic fibrosis at the centre of everything we do is key to helping us beat the condition for good, and doing this is a challenge that you’ll relish.
It is an exciting time to join the charity and you will take responsibility for raising awareness of cystic fibrosis and the Trust through effective championing of social media within and by the organisation, developing campaign and channel-specific strategies for social media.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing a unified, market-leading, innovative social media strategy that delivers results for the Trust’s ambitious communication/engagement strategy. You will act as the Trust’s social media expert and advise on the appropriate use of social media for internal/external communications and well as providing line management direction and support, using coaching and mentoring, to develop and motivate direct reports.
